Description Of Rail Dowel
A rail dowel, also known as a rail plastic dowel, rail plastic sleeve, or plastic insert, is a component used in rail fastening systems. It’s a cylindrical piece, often made of plastic like HDPE or PA66, that’s pre-embedded into a concrete or wooden sleeper. It works in conjunction with screw spikes, guide plates, and rail clips to secure the rail to the sleeper. The dowel provides a secure, threaded receptacle for the screw spike, ensuring a stable and reliable connection.

1.Anchor spikes:
Provide a threaded connection base for spiral spikes to ensure a firm combination of the fastening system and the sleeper.
2.Adjusting gauge/level:
