Kenya Rail Restoration Project

In 2023, the Kenya Rail Restoration Project was officially launched, aiming to comprehensively repair and upgrade some aging and damaged meter gauge railways in Kenya to enhance railway transportation capacity and promote local economic development. The project has received widespread attention from the Kenyan government and the international community and is of great significance to improving Kenya’s transportation infrastructure.

Our company (LTRF) advantages:

Our company (LTRF) successfully participated in the Kenya Meter Gauge Repair Project, where we played a key role by supplying a complete set of rail fasteners. Specifically, our contributions included A, B, and K-type Rail Clamp Fastening Systems, Type-I Rail Fastening Systems, 95N Fish Plates, 95N Fish Bolts, PR309 Rail Clips, among other critical components. Engineers design these fasteners to firmly secure rails to sleepers, prevent longitudinal/lateral movement, and maintain precise track gauge.

LTRF control the cost of each process, and the finance department updates the cost calculation regularly.
Furthermore, LTRF’s advanced testing equipment endows the company with comprehensive quality inspection capabilities for the entire fastener system. This meticulous quality-control measure is crucial for ensuring product reliability. Importantly, LTRF holds ISO and CRCC certification for railway products. These certifications not only demonstrate the company’s compliance with international and industry-specific standards but also enhance its credibility in the market.

Our company strictly adheres to international quality standards throughout the entire production process, implementing rigorous quality control from raw material procurement all the way to finished product delivery. Thanks to this comprehensive approach, our fasteners have demonstrated exceptional stability and reliability in real-world operations. More importantly, they have significantly reduced railway maintenance costs while simultaneously lowering safety risks across the network.

We proudly contributed to the Kenya Rail Restoration Project, which significantly improved local traffic conditions and injected new vitality into Kenya’s economic development, and we now build on this achievement with renewed commitment. Moving forward, we remain committed to delivering equally high-quality products and services for similar railway projects worldwide, thereby playing an integral role in advancing global transportation infrastructure development.
